Facebook released a new feature in 2017 for split testing.

Wicked Reports can track your Facebook Split Test Ads.

However...

In order to track your Split Test Ads inside Facebook, you need to keep a few things in mind.


1. The ads in your split test must be INACTIVE in order for you to add tracking parameters in the "URL Params" field inside Facebook.

If you want to track your ads with Wicked Reports, then you need to have tracking params (WickedIDs or UTMS) in the URL Params field of each ad on Facebook. This is required in order for Wicked Reports to track any of your Facebook Ads (not just split test ads).


2. To add tracking to the URL Params field for Split Test ads, you can:

-Add WickedIDs / UTMs manually while you're creating your ads. (Ads are inactive at this time)

-Use our Facebook Ads Tracking Tool to update your ads with tracking with a few clicks while the ads are still Inactive. 


Basically, in order for Wicked Reports to track your Split Test ads inside Facebook, you need to add tracking (WickedIDs or UTMs) BEFORE the Split Test study is "Live".
