Wicked Reports attempts to report on the Products sold based on the Product and Order data we pull from your CRM or payment processor. If your CRM or payment processor does not create products and Orders in a way we can get to the data, then we won't be able to provide good quality product reporting inside Wicked Reports.
* If you are using Stripe and your Product Data does not seem accurate, please visit our help on Stripe Integration Requirements and ensure that all the necessary data is there.
* If you are using PayPal as your payment processor and the shopping cart does not properly pass product information into PayPal, we won't be able to report on your products. When we pull your PayPal data into Wicked Reports, we won't be able to display product data that we don't have. This is an issue with how your shopping cart integrates with PayPal.
* If you are using PayPal as your payment processor and the shopping cart does not properly include product details in the charges (orders). Even if you have products and/or created in PayPal, if the order does not reference the product or plan, we won't be able to report on the sales of the products. This is an issue with how your shopping cart integrates with PayPal.
* If you are using the API to pass Order Data into Wicked Reports but do not properly pass in Product information, we won't be able to report on your products. To solve this, you'll need to follow our API documentation closely and be sure to pass Product Name information when using the API as well as including the Product in the OrderItems of the Orders.
Another workaround involves creating subscription products in Stripe, but only having one payment on those products. Essentially, this would be a single or "One Time" product sale, but it would technically be a Subscription in the eyes of Stripe.
For some of our customers, this has allowed them to view product data inside Stripe because the product is a subscription.
